Software Licence Agreement

This page explains the general licence conditions that apply to software licence keys and digital products purchased from Kepbuy. Product-specific information shown on the relevant product page takes priority where it differs from these general conditions.

1. Licence, Not Ownership

Purchasing a software licence key gives you permission to activate and use the corresponding software under the applicable licence terms. It does not transfer ownership of the software, trademarks, source code or other intellectual property.

2. Product Edition and Licence Type

The applicable edition, licence type, activation method, supported platform and number of permitted devices or users are stated on each product page. Please verify these details before ordering.

Terms such as Retail, OEM, MAK, Volume, LTSC, subscription, online activation or phone activation describe different products and activation methods. They are not interchangeable unless the product description explicitly says otherwise.

3. Permitted Use

  • Use the licence only for the number of devices or users included with the purchased product.
  • Follow the software publisher’s installation, activation and end-user licence terms.
  • Keep the licence key and activation information private.
  • Use the product only in a lawful manner and for its intended purpose.

4. Restrictions

You must not publish, share, duplicate, resell or distribute a licence key unless the product page explicitly permits transfer or resale. You must not attempt to bypass activation systems, alter licence validation or use the product on more devices than authorised.

5. Publisher Terms

Software is developed and controlled by its respective publisher. Activation and continued use may also be subject to the publisher’s end-user licence agreement, account requirements and supported-platform rules. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

6. Compatibility

You are responsible for confirming the required operating system, architecture, region, language, hardware and existing software edition before purchase. A key intended for one edition or platform may not activate a different edition or platform.

7. Activation

Activation instructions depend on the product purchased. Follow the instructions supplied with your order and contact Kepbuy before making repeated activation attempts if an error occurs. Never send passwords or complete payment-card details when requesting activation support.

8. Problems With a Licence

If a supplied key is unavailable, invalid or does not match its product description, contact Kepbuy promptly with the order number and a screenshot of the non-sensitive error message. We will investigate and provide an appropriate solution in accordance with our Returns and Refunds Policy and any mandatory consumer rights.
